Eagles TE Ingram tears ACL; WR Jackson hurts knee

i am your football and baseball guy...

Eagles TE Ingram tears ACL; WR Jackson hurts knee: "Bethlehem, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles tight end Cornelius Ingram was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Saturday.
Ingram, a 2009 fifth-round draft pick out of the University of Florida, sat out his entire senior season with the Gators due to the same injury. He suffered the latest injury during a goal-line drill Tuesday before an MRI confirmed the latest diagnosis.
Also, Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a hyperextended left knee Saturday when he got tangled up with cornerback Asante Samuel at practice at training camp. Jackson was carted off the field, but the injury is considered minor."

Here's what i think the Bluejays should do for the futur. They got some good young players like Adam Lind LF,Joe Inglet utility player,Snyder a great hitter and out field and the top defencive Shortstop in Johnny Macdonald.
Right fielder Alex Rios has been claimed off waivers by an unidentified team.If a player is claimed by another organization, a team can either pull the player off waivers, let the claiming team add him to its roster or discuss a trade with the claiming club. In Rios' case, parting with the underperforming right fielder would be a way to shed salary for a Toronto club that has slipped to fourth place in the American League East.
So i see it like this....if the Bluejays let Rios go they clear alot of cap space, and i do beleive if someone is picked up off waivers the Bluejays would get 2 draft picks in compensation.
This would give them the option of trading Marco Scutaro and Lyle Overbay and some real time money to get a really heavy hitter, cause they need that 25 to 35 homerun hitter, and they would still have Adam Lind,Travis Snyder,Vernon Wells,Aaron Hill and the best pitcher in the game, and a bunch of pitchers for next year coming of injuries...so with a new heavy hitter, their young pitchers coming back, and the young hitters given a chance to really play,i think they would be better off.

*The BlueJays are actually in first place..even tho there is 150 games left,it still feels good that the team is playing so well, their record is 11-5,i started watching baseball about 5 or 6 years ago, because i was sick of watching all these reality shows.
*Reality shows-the only reality show i do watch is Amazing race,it is the best one ,because its not stupid..ppl raceing across the world to be first and win money...but American Idol..is getting worst and worst..last night i turned it on and it was disco theme..and those wierd Ford videos they make are terrible, and the medley's they do to open the show is really bad.
*Pirates-Did anyone hear about the pirates of somalia taking an american prisoner..it took them a few days to get him back, but they did a good job, navy seals came in shot 3 pirates and fucked off before the other pirates knew what hit'em....if this happened to a country like Russia,Russia would bulldoze Somalia to the ground.
