gotta have a second team to rout for,why not the Phillies

Being a Bluejays fan is hard to do when they have to beat the 2 richest teams in the league...NewYork and Boston have team salaries that are 100 million more than the Bluejays so they will never make the playoffs.
So my second team im gonna rout for is the Philadelphia Phillies,for the only reason that they have Roy Halladay,one of the most know ex-Bluejays..i hope they can win a pennant for him cause if anyone deserves it,its him..he has been a top 5 pitcher for a long time.

Jay Mariotti from Around the Horn gets arrested

ESPN blowhard Jay Mariotti was arrested overnight by Los Angeles police officers on a “suspicion of felony”. The rumor going around right now is that this involves a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.


Mariotti’s bail is a whopping $50,000,

Jay Mariotti is best known for his ESPN work on Around the Horn, but he also writes for Fanhouse.com and used to write for the Chicago Sun-Times before they fired him, probably for being irritating.

I love the show Around The Horn i watch it when i can and listen to it via podcast from itunes if i dont ctach it on tv..and Jay Mariotti is very critical of anyone in sports that does anything wrong at all..those ppl are usually the worst..its like the must homo-phobe person in the room turns out to be gay himself.
 

Thank god the show is off for a week because of the little league championships,it would be a great story to talk about on the show on monday,it will be interesting to see if they talk about it on PT|I with Kornheiser and Wilbon or on Around the Horn,or maybe the week off will give the story time to die down

no more toys at mcdonalds Why?

I read in the paper that there is a group that want to stop Mcdonalds from giving out toys with their happy-meals to children cause it entices kids to eat un-healthy fast food...this is classic case of having to blame someone else.
Are your kids driving themselves to Mcdonalds,and why jump on Mcdonalds,all fast food joints give out toys,and so does subway..so why just stop Mcdonalds..Chuky Cheese is an arcade in a pizza place..no healthy food there.
Mcdonalds has healthier choices too..you can get apple slices with a happy meal instead of fries..so getting rid of toys isnt gonna stopp people from eating there.
In hammonds plain near Halifax the Mcdonalds has a play area,so at least the kids get a little exercise...so its not the fast food joint that is the problem,its parents that cant say no to their kids,
The toy at any fast-food place is there to distract the kids for 5 minutes so YOU can actually eat your damn meal,the hammonds plain Mcdonalds is the best cause of the play area,i have time to eat my meal and read the paper..i think all fast-food places should install a play area.
so for the group that wants to get rid of toys..you are all nuts,i mean come on...the dentist gives out toothbrushes and dollarrama toys to our kids..are you gonna not bring your kids there either...he is giving out toys,it must be wrong.
Subway is supposedly healthy..but the chicken is still fake processed chicken just like the nuggets at Mcy D's,and the light mayo at subway is twice as fattening as regular miracle whip..but i guess Mcdonalds is a easy target.
Remember that documentary when some guy ate only Mcdonalds and gained a shit load of weight..well if you want to you can prove anything...cause after him there was a women that did the same thing,she ate only at Mcdonalds but she ate only the healthier options like salads and non breaded chicken,water instead of pop and she lost weight..so dont blame Mcdonalds or any fast food joint that your kids are fat...its your own choices that make a difference,choose the apple slices and enjoy the free toy.

Steven Segal and Ben Rothlesberger hooked on women

So where do you look for a female to do sexual favours?Well you get one on Craigs list.
At least that's where Steven Segal went to find a personal assistant,and then asked her to get it on,now she is charging him with sexual assaullt .
Jenny Mcarthy says that when she auditioned for under seige 2 she was asked by mister Segal to strip down and take off all her clothes...looks like Segal is gonna get the karate chop to the neck.
Big Ben Rothlesberger gets charged again for sexual assuallt within the same year,and now the Pittsburgh Steelers might want to trade him,they don't want someone like this as your team captain,people with money think they can do anything.they go loony cause with money there is nothing you can't do.

As I sit in my bunk aboard the boat,I am glad that dumping day is done and the pots are in the water.
The weather wasn't bad as I expected,or I'm getting used to the ocean I guess,let's hope the pots fish and we make some money,since my eyes are red and burning cause of the salt water in my face I will talk to you guys later,I'll actually blog or rant about something soon.

Conan Obrien back on tv

I just found out that Conan Obrien will be back on the air in November on TBS,I can't wait for him to be back after NBC let him go.
He is doing a live show and will be touring 30 different cities,and the tickets are selling out fast,you can follow him on teamcoco on facebook ,the fact that people are willing to pay to see him is a good sign,I thought for sure that Conan would be moving to Fox,that was the buzz around him.
Now for a bit of sports...the Philladelphia Eagles traded QB Donavon McNabb to their divisional rival the Washington Redskins,this does make the Redskins better and even better to finaly get out of the Nfc east sellar.

Tiger woods comercial

So did you see the new Tiger Woods comercial ,I guess alot of people are outraged that he uses his dads voice in the comercial as he just stares at you like someone just farted.
The problem most people have is that his father is dead,and that he is using his dead dads voice to make money.
But if you ask me and you probably didn't but if you did I figure since his dad was his greatest fan and would do anything to help Tigers career,and if he was alive he would of done the comercial anyhow,so I don't see the big deal,it was a great comercial .
And now that he's kept his club in the bag he is playing better,but we all know how hard it is to play hockey after a little nookie.
