Super Bowl Pick: Tough Choice Launched Colts' Dynasty -

Super Bowl Pick: Tough Choice Launched Colts' Dynasty ---The Indianapolis Colts are creeping up on the 'D'' word.

As in 'dynasty,'' an overused designation too often given to teams that win a couple of titles in a four-year period, as the Colts are trying to do.

Still, if the Colts beat the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl on Sunday, it will be their second NFL championship in four years, tying the Pittsburgh Steelers, who did so in 2006 and 2009. And it will put them one championship behind New England, although the Patriots' last title came after the 2004 season -- their unbeaten run was unexpectedly ended by the New York Giants two years ago.

More dynastic? It will cap off the Colts' eight consecutive seasons of double-digit victories, a period in which their regular-season record has been 99-29.

But it might never have happened if not for the decision made in 1998 to take Peyton Manning over Ryan Leaf with the first pick of the draft. It was a closer choice than most people realize, something that was officially disclosed this week after 12 years of hedging. Well, maybe not hedging. But Colts officials usually claimed that it was always clear cut that they would choose Manning, who became a four-time MVP, over Leaf, whose name is synonymous with 'bust.''"

So when it comes to the superbowl on sunday i hope to hell that the Colts win the game, and maybe even another one next year...i want him to pass Brady in Superbowl wins,Touchdowns and games won.
